Rules of the event Vis(S)i D'Arte 2022

From Saturday 3 September to Sunday 11 September 2022 the third edition of Vis(S)i D'Arte will be organized, born in 2020 with the aim of promoting the artists of the city of Santeramo in Colle.


The first novelty of this edition is represented by the opening to the participation of other countries with the clear intent of exchanging knowledge between the artists of our territory, generating new relationships and collaborations.


The second novelty is that this edition also opens its doors to schools that wish to participate with their own representation.


Each artist must necessarily fill out the registration form in its entirety and declare that they have read the following rules.


Each artist must send a passport photo and a biography.


Each artist can submit up to 10 works and send a description for each of them containing the title of the work, the technique used, the date of creation, the measurements, and the price in case they wish to put it up for sale.


For each work it is necessary to send a frontal photo on a neutral background (wall). This last operation is necessary to create multimedia content in augmented reality, or for transferring information with proximity data transmission technique (near-field communication) is a transmission reception technology that provides two-way wireless connectivity (RFia) at a distance (contactless) at short range.

Both the personal biography, the passport photo, the description of the works and the relative photos must be contained in a folder named with your name and surname and sent in compressed format (win zip / win Rar) to the address vissidarte2021@gmail.com and for information to ilsanteramno@gmail.com


The exhibition will be reserved for paintings made with any technique;


During the event a series of events will be organized including an impromptu painting that will take place in the streets of the historic center, all artists will be able to book and register.


In order to support the costs of the event, a contribution of €5.00 per work is requested, with a minimum of €30.00 (e.g. a single work = €30.00, 6 works = €30.00, max 10 works €50.00). A receipt will be issued for these amounts.


The artist is responsible for any damage caused to the structure and the space that hosts his works, and undertakes to maintain and carry out the necessary cleaning of the place.


All works must be received by September 1, 2022 and the artist will arrange them according to the organizer's instructions. The location where the artist will exhibit his/her works is decided by the organizer.


The organizer may nominate some figures among the artists themselves who may collaborate in organizing the event such as: person responsible for checking the correct display of the works, person responsible for the events accompanying the event, person responsible for the impromptu exhibition, person responsible for the cashier, account controller.

Please remember that this event is non-profit and that all proceeds, if they exceed the amount spent, will be put into a special account and used for future editions.


In case of sale of a work the artist is required to inform the organization. All the works exhibited can be put up for sale: 10% of the proceeds will go to the organization.


Each artist will be issued a certificate of participation.


The event is sponsored by the municipal administration, and further sponsorships are not excluded.

Collaboration with other associations is planned to organize other events.

 

in accordance with Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code, the Organizers of the event, while ensuring the utmost care of the works, decline all responsibility for any damage, theft, fire, breakages and tampering of any kind. Therefore, the participant declares to approve the following clause of the Regulation (exemption from liability) by signing the appropriate membership form.


To ensure public attendance, a social media sponsorship campaign will be set up with a radius of action of approximately 50 KM, as well as using tools such as press releases in both online and offline newspapers.


All works must be collected within 24 hours of the day after the closing of the event.


The last date for booking and registration for the event is currently set for midnight on 30 June 2022.
